Veterinary Digital Radiography Workstations
Once the x-ray is acquired, VJ Medical’s Veterinary Digital Radiography workstations make image review simple and fast. Our workstations can be configured as a viewing station for reviewing images with clients or coupled with a grayscale monitor to function as a diagnostic review station. Practitioners may also burn images to a CD or export JPEG or Bitmap files for email. VJ Medical’s digital radiography workstations permit rapid and easy access to images from anywhere in the hospital or clinic. Images also may be sent wirelessly or via the hospital’s network to outside specialists.
Monitor Options
VJM offers a choice in veterinary x-ray monitor options to meet various viewing needs throughout the clinic or hospital.
• 2 Megapixel DICOM-compliant Diagnostic Monitor – This high-resolution grayscale monitor adds about a 20% increase in sharpness and brightness to the image. The unit is typically used for workstation viewing where veterinarians will make a diagnosis and can also be used directly in the x-ray suite allowing diagnosis while the patient is still on the table.
• 20-inch Flat Panel Color Monitor – This monitor is a cost-effective unit that can be used as a viewing station when reviewing images with clients
These monitors are designed to provide maximum viewing performance from VJM’s veterinary x-ray systems.
Portable Review Station
Veterinary digital radiography makes image retrieval fast, while laptop viewing stations add flexibility, convenience, and privacy when viewing images and reporting results. Portable review stations make client consultations possible anywhere in the hospital and enable time-sensitive diagnosis of clinical cases. Images can be burned quickly and efficiently to a CD to give to the client, or emailed to outside experts or specialists for speedy consultation.
VJ Medical offers portable review stations designed for maximum performance with its veterinary digital radiography systems.
